Anyone kill anything this year

I would be interested to hear what people killed this year?

Do six packs count? If so....where do I begin.

A few of my moments:

Fishing on the dock with my boy.
My first bow kill.
Taking my dad on an outfitted hunt for his first deer.
Taking my wife fishing for lings and having time to stop for a waterfront dinner on the way home.

Excellent year hunting with my new Diamond Stud bow. Killed a blacktail doe in early season and a cow elk in the late (my first). Also stacked up 6 halibut.  Good year for the freezer.

WA Merriam's Turkey
OR Roosevelt Bull
WA Blacktail Buck

And though my Tuna run was a bust due to high winds/swells, my dad and his partner got back out the next day and boated ~30 tuna, which they spent days canning.

All said, winter will be quite tasty!  :EAT:

One doe, one jake, one hen........and all of my nerves trying to get the blasted elk to come through the brush only yards away with no shot.

All in all a decent year.

I shot a decent Roosevelt up out of Forks on Sept. 14.

Then on opening day of black powder I took a friend into my area that has never killed an elk and in the first 15 minutes of daylight he shot a nice 5X6, green score 269.

As soon as I get permission,  I will post pics of that.
