They have been selling them cheap at the local one as well.  They have not been restocking the gun cabinet.  I wonder if they are getting out of the gun business.
This is also possible, was wondering that myself.  I know that there isn't a whole lot of profit in selling guns for the most part.
They are selling the mossberg 935 for $368 right now.

When was this?  I checked friday and they were over $400.

I was there friday also.  The prices that are marked are not the correct ones, those are the full prices.  Just ask them for the sales prices and they have a list of the prices for the guns they normally stock and will look up anything they can order.

dang if everyone wants to pay me $1.00 over cost I will sell you a gun. But here's the deal only if 50.000.00 guns can be sold....I sell all mine for cost plus tax's and shipping fee's.  I charge 20.00 dollars to pay for my renewal each year. DAMN WALMART, there goes my retirement fund! Big company's they get bailed out and always take from the little people! I say B-S Support your local gun store! Small company's need help, and the government was never there for me and my past company's.   OH well, what ever....

I'm not going to argue about the bailouts the govt handed out because I think most people will agree that that was BS.  I also do buy 95% of my guns from the local gun store and have managed to avoid buying any from Cabelas or wholesale sports, for multiple reasons, that being one of them.  But I do not have any problems with what walmart has done as a company.  They started out just like every other store and built it from the ground up, that's the goal of every company, success.  It's true that most companies don't succeed on such a large scale, but you can't really blame them for that.
