Bow fishing for Mako sharks
« on: December 14, 2010, 04:24:40 PM »
Has anyone seen the show "the professionals" where the are bowfishing for Mako sharks? It's nuts. Looks like fun. It's on the outdoor channel.

Yeah i have seen it! Had been talking to a few members about getting out and chasing some sharks. We do have a bowfishing area, under the bowhunting area at the top of the page. If someone wants to move it in there feel free to do so. They were not getting it done very well. They were having a bunch of problems with there gear. Would love to get a big set off shark jaws to mount :IBCOOL:

Sound very interesting for sure?  Is it legal to stick a shark with a bow?  I am only asking cause it really sounds like a alot of fun to do it, not to be the internet police...  My bud went on a tuna last year- overnighter type they caught hook and line sharks when the rest of the people went to bed after dark.  He would do that over the tuna trip he said...

yes they are legal to bowfish for. Not sure about all kinds if sharks. Certain ones yes, and tuna is on the hit list as well.

Thanks rasbo! will have to do that.
