It may be crazy but that's the way it is. I am at 1450' elev. and I'm betting Bone is at 1550 or 1600'. Selah is only 1000'.
Can be 10 -15 degrees difference in temp also.

Yea we had a good 9" here last night but it's melted down to 4or less now. I'd stay clear or the roads tell it freezes or you might be there for a bit now

I got to walk home on Christmas eve once out there.  LOL    Man the wife was pissed when I walked through the door late.  She didn't bother to notice I got home without bringing a truck home.  It had snowed over a mud hole that had a 2 inch of ice crust onit.   all 4 tires broke through and there I sat.  High centered in a mud pit.  Chained up.....nothing.   Not like there is a tree to hook to to wicnh yourself out.

At times, you can see 1,000 head of elk out there.  Rarely any bulls of any size. but still cool.

Lol had kind of the same thing happen. Broke though and cut a break line so when I came out I couldn't stop! I ended up having a truck hook up to me and used him as a break but I would just drag him untell I put it in N to stop. That was a long night

Lol I remember there was 5 of us. Right where people shoot the hand guns the yotas clutch went out, then had one guy try n blow up his ford couldn't do it at the frog ponds. Went to a diff location, someones alternator went out, then we all headed back down n a guy went over the edge of the cattle guard n poped a tire. Lol 5 rig went n and 2 came out that night, and it was winter so peeps had to ride n the back of the beds. God that was a interesting night lol.
