That is way fun. IT seems I've traded the big chucks for these little sage rats though. Still fun to shoot though, just not as big of a blood smear.

Here's a couple... though mine are a little more graphic. 6mm Rem. + 75 grain V-Max = some pretty sloppy chucks. By the way... how old is your boy in that picture? I have one that's a little over 9 months now, and I can't wait to get him out shooting some 'chucks and coyotes.

I hit one last year with a 3 1/2 Tungsten Iron goose load at about 30 yards with a full choke. He was laying on a big WHITE rock. It was a little more graphic than usual.

Thats pert near disgusting Longtat. I couldn't imagine it, but then again, whats in a hotdog.
Here is longtat at the groundchuck dinner table.
I have those little rat *censored*s all over my place. I used to use the 10-22 on them alot. Now I have converged over tot he 410. You'd be happy with one of my techniques last year with a 30 shot clip. I stuck a garden hose into one of their dens. As it filled with water, over 20 of them came out the other end. They'd always stop to take a looksie and I would snipe them off. I had 20 carcasses there when all said and done.

Long. I have an M4 bushmaster like yours does the scope just mount on top of carry with a rail? Great pics my boys would love to take the M4 out and get some of those. Are those chucks the same as they have over in Yakima

ruger m77 tang saftey 220 swift. this is my song dog rifle. back in arkansas, it pulled double duty as a yote-deer rifle. i learned to shoot a scoped rifle on it. hope some day i call in a big cat. i have total confidence that this thing would take all the fight out of a cat, given the right bullets.
its a pig to carry. the scope is an old redfield 6x18. it has had close to two thousand rounds thru it, and it is starting to wander a little bit, its still a sure shooting rifle. one time, from a bench, at 200 yards, put 14 shots into a group of exactly 3 inches.
