Went out with some friends this morning and shot my first harlequin. I hope to get it mounted. Two other guys also got Harlequins.

Scoters, I think those surf scoters on the left are some of the coolest birds. They are ugly, but there is something about that beak that just makes them look cool to me.

Sea ducks are LOTS of fun. I haven't hunted them much but loved it each time. Never got a Harli. Nuted with Mike Wolski several years ago and each time we weren't prepared is the exact time a harli flew by. One within 10 feet of the boat.

Would love to find some of those Harlequin. We ended up getting some surf scoters and common goldeneyes on our trip last week.
We are hoping to get some more sea ducks after the holidays.

Congrats on the Harlis they are some beauties.
Ellensburg the scoters on the left with white patch are surf scoters the two on the right are black scoters.
