Went down to the Snake today to have some post Christmas fun. Fished the rocks near the wawawai landing, got there at daylight and 20 minutes in I hooked up with a 7-8 lb steelie and as I got him close he rolled and spit the hook. Less than an hour later I hooked up again and ended up landing this 12 pounder
. She put up a pretty good fight and since I was by myself landing her was quite the chore. Later on I landed a 5 lb. fish which capped it off so all in all it was a pretty good day! Anyone else been down there fishing lately?
