Not sure about packing meat with it, but that is a heck of a good deal, congrats!

Miles I've used the MOLLE in the Marine Corps.  Here's what I think about it.  It is actually pretty comfortable and the pockets and the layout of the pack is really really good.  You'll really like it.  The material of the pack held up really well in the field.  The only complaint I have about it is the plastic frame SUCKS!!!  Be very carefull with it.  While it is comfortable on your back it is also extremely fragile.  We had ALOT of problems with the frames breaking.  Part of it is grunts are hard on their packs but the plastic frame has no part in infantry operations.  So just be really careful when you pick your pack up and set it down.  Also be careful when you are hopping up and down to cinch down your pack.  If there's alot of weight in the pack that in itself can break a frame.  Also bring duct tape if that happens.

So overall I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.

did you find a lightweight sleeping bag yet. you can look in outside magazine or the rock climbing archives for them.
