Date says 11/16, today is 12/16, I am guessing about a month
..........
Sorry I could not resist
.
Saw the brown thing assumed it was a dog. Form the picture and the surroundings I can not even guess how old the bear might be.

Ok, so I figured I would get this response. But I was interested to see what you all thought. It is a bear if you look closely, I can only assume a cub following mommy out of the pic. Or a cub who's mommy was shot this year. I know it is brushy, it is a log landing, that's why I wanted a few more eyes on it. Oh well i will just have to wait for another pic.

Looks more like like a leaf that has turned color than a collar but who knows.
The brown blob is manbearpig, i know as i have seen them before and that is the exact size/shape and color phase, from the tusk length and wear on the nails along with the obvious discoloration/redness of the eyes he would be exactally 1yr,8months,3days,42minutes and 16 seconds old (yes i said "he" which can be determined from the dropped left testical which is a sign of sexual maturity) Comeon guys it's not that hard to field judge manbearpig...

See this is why I put this one up here. I was convinced a cub judging by the big old stomach and shape of the rear legs. I do appreciate the sarcasm, and I have seen/shot allot of bears but this one had me wondering. My poor image quality does not help. Personally I still see bear
the orange looks to be a turning leaf and to far back for a collar. But I concede if the overall concensus is dog.

If you blow it up it looks like a dog with his head turned away from the camera to give an appearance that the collar is too far forward. I am going with dog.

looks like it has a floppy ear in the blown up pic and i would say that was a collar.

sorry but im gunna have to say..... bear cub.... look at the snout on the left side of its body. If it is a dog and it had a collar it would have some kind of deformed fluffy tail thats half the size of its body.. bear for sure

Well I guess we will not know untill I get another pic of this cubdog. I will post it up when if I do, it will not be tell spring though, so we will probably be getting a pic of a young bear with an orange collar, then we can all be right.
Side note, you all must have great computers because I do not see an orange collar, floppy ears, or tail. I am not well versed in doing the CSI pic enhancing either. Also do you all typically see labs with this body shape, stomach lines and all
I will beat this to death untill you all agree with me that it is a cub, and we give him a name.

Chester nice way of changing his view. This is fun, I can tell you I see no animals bear, dog or otherwise in the second picture
. I can see the left to right dog though.

Dog. If you look you can even see the tail to the left. it looks like some kind of pointer to me.
