Good luck to ya I was over there on sat. and didn't see an elk or fresh tracks. I dont't know much about this unit but seems when the snow flies they roll.  Hope you find a straggler!!!

Day 3 and still no elk or any fresh tracks. Sounds like the cow hunters are having some trouble too. There's tomorrow!!!

The elk moved down but there are the stubborn few that are in hard to reach areas mainly cause of private land.

I have a cow tag that runs through Jan 9th.

Have not seen a cow or cut a track.

Locals have not seen a cow in two weeks to the person.

I think they've migrated down to the feeding stations.

I have land owner permission also, nothing.

HHPro did you get your cow? We do have snowmobiles, yet haven't seen or cut an elk track. Ok out for day 4.

have you guys checked out above ronald yet?  You may even check around the power lines in easton.  to the property border of suncadia.  Cover a lot of ground with those sleds.  You will run into them eventually.

there is like 100 head that moves into a field in ronald everyday and night right now.  Its all cows, one spike and a rag horn.  Its all private obviously.  But they are being fed. They come from the suncadia property but also they cross the highway.  You cant miss em.  I am sure if you go up above ronald to the north you will find them were they bed before they move in.

old dave chase keeps those cows fat all winter.  There are a few that come down to feed.  most all of them come out of scumcadia.  There are some nice bulls that hang out above ronald.  There are a few pockets that they hang out in.
