Pretty sure Entiat is between East Peola and West Marengo.  Many years ago, HardCorpsHuntr let the B3M out of the bag on this site: Big Muley Migration out of Marengo.  Still a lot of really nice deer there, but it's just not what it was before this site outed it.  :(
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Entiat is a small little unit that gets tadered with hunters (including me) and I would love to see this unit become draw only. It could very well be the next bookcliffs, pausagaunt, sanora, henry mts. With some time and managemant it could be Washingtons honney hole, but maybe I am just dreaming. :) Yes it is mostly a migrating heard, but it has potential to have a healthy local heard, I believe the genes are still there and the potential is there, close some the roads and a few more restrictions...

Awsome buck by the way. I wish I could have made it up there to meet ya.

Nice buck jlane! I love the entiat. Out of garage, over the hill, through the woods, past the cityidts, to the top...just me and big bucks! You'll never find me! :chuckle:

Well done!  Toughing out snow and cold makes any hunt that much more difficult.  I'd be proud of that buck!

Wow! Nice buck! This Entiat place sounds cool! I am gonna hunt it next year with my 100 friends! This site is awesome! I need to go explore it for the first time!

When I am in the Entiat I am carring one of two things. A Pulaski or a rifle.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I am sure you have already taken 200 of your friends over there and had them put in for special permits for the area too!! :chuckle:
