Just a big dog
WHere are you from Scott? Just curious what you were doing in King county...I thought you were an eastern guy!Yep...hope you are wrong, BUT... them wolves will get everywhere eventually... IF we let them...
runnin down the road like that could be a big dog, when im driven down a low traffic road i kick my dogs out to burn off some energy but thoose are some big prints man
I'd rather have them in King County than Lewis county. Maybe they can eat some anti hunting wolf lovers.
I would believe anything. Looking at these particular tracks what strikes me is the acute lack of stride. Wolves don't tend to walk or stroll, they tend to jog, and they tend to have a much longer stride. Thats hard to determine in the pics.
Hope they are dog.....

I noticed when my border collie walks her back paws overlay the tracks of her front paws so you rarely see a clean track. Is this typical of dogs? I know bears do that sometimes.
Time to set up a few trail cams in that area....
Back in the mid 80s (1980's) a good friend of mine drove loggin' truck out of Snoqualmie when they were logging high up behind the watershed. He and several other drivers said they would hear wolves howling just after dark. Heard them in the same area most times. One of the drivers claimed he saw a couple out in a clearcut one winter, looked like they were feeding on something.
