Hope he never hunted again after that.  I dont know how strict the GD is. My cousin caught a guy who shot a cow in a 3pt area the gamey took the animal and let the dude go.  He tried several times to get his 10 points.  He finally called their hq and the gal said it was never reported to them.  I wonder how many other things never get reported.

BC Chaser, why you shootin a shotgun? Just curious.

cause hes shootin them tame city bucks you can walk up too :chuckle:
I saw on the hunting show one day how you can shoot a shotgun slug 150 to 200 yds.  must of my animals that Ive killed have been under 100 yds with a rifle.  So I guest I should buy a shotgun and I can save myself 50 to 100 yds of sneaking upon my targets >:( >:( >:(

You guys killing these in the late season, November? Great pics, hope you guys took them to the taxidermist.  ;)

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Just in general, not really talking about one deer. I've been thinking of going over for the late rifle season this year for a blacktail. I have multiple nice whitetail and a few nice mule deer on the wall, but I've never shot a nice blacktail. Actually I have never shot a blacktail. I went over two years ago for 4 days, bow hunting over Thanksgiving and had the opportunity on 13 different bucks but they where all forks and spikes, one SMALL 2x3. I passed on all of them hoping for a 4pt. I want to get it mounted for my trophy room. That same year I came back and hunted around my house and took a 5x5 whitetail the 13th of Dec. IT doesn't close until the 15th around here.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
