Daughters first deer mount back.
« on: December 22, 2010, 03:35:25 PM »
I finally got my daughters first deer back from the taxidermist.  We really like the way it turned out.  She was very excited to see it again.  She got this buck last year when she was 10.  Story here: http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,36951.0.html

That is soooooo great! I can't wait till my daughter gets to go out. If you're like me you were more excited than the kid  :IBCOOL:

I will never forget that day.  She's gotten a deer the last 2 years in a row.  I think it's been about 4yrs. for me.  I don't even care if I ever shoot one again.  She was smiling I just didn't get good pictures.

That's a great buck...congrats! I have a 10 yeat old son that I'm going to try to get into hunting this year. That is one heck of a first deer! I'm almost 40 and haven't killed one like that yet!

Very nice, I'm sure that mount will act as a reminder of her hunts with "dad" for the rest of her life.
