2nd cycle for blacktails

Must be going right now? I saw a nice 4 point chasing two does yesterday out by Hobart.  I was kind of shocked to see him dogging the does with his nose to the ground like that this time of year.  He crossed a busy road right in front of me at around 3:30 in the afternoon.  It is still archery season right?

Yeah still archery season.  I tag a 2 pt on the 18th of this month that smelled kinda rutty.

i drew back on a 3 point today. he has been with a doe all 3 times i have seen him. to much brush to get a clear shot. i was kinda wondering the same thing? still kinda rutting?
hunt for the the challange of the hunt and the meat,  and it's always a trophey....poachers suck.

shot a buck last yr Dec 7th that was rutted and chasing does. Yes still archery season in that unit 454 until 31st

Weathergirl's doe today actually had rutty smelling tarsals.
