It isn't Christmas yet, but I needed to take a Photo of the cat for my wife's Christmas present. I bought the cat at the pound 3 years ago for my wife's Christmas Present, so Target is celebrating an anniversary today too.

The new lens will get a work out tonight and all day tomorrow, so I also needed to acquaint myself with the lens. That way I get a lot of awesome photos of our family's Christmas Festivities. ;) :) :D

Our little dog has the name Bullseye! You can't tell I am a sportsman can you? ;) :) :D

Our old cat that came from my wife's dad's house after he died was called Stupid by me because she would run out and sit below my archery target and watch the arrows impact the target.  :yike: Coyotes finally got her. :(

The cat we had before her was named Sharkbait because I always threatened to use her as shark bait if she ever messed in our house or travel trailer. She never did a mess in either place. :)

Yes Steve, our cat is indeed a Bengal. Can you believe we adopted her 3 years ago on Christmas Eve Day at the Humane Society pound. She was scheduled to be put to sleep the first business day after Christmas.

That is crazy. As you may know those cats are not cheap.....They are pretty special cats and to see that someone would put one to sleep kills me. I am not a big fan of domestic cats but this is one cat that i would not mind to have around. I had a marbled bengal myself but had to sell him. I will post a picture as soon as i can find it.

Good lookin cat Gramps,

When I was a kid we had a black cat from the pound named...  (the 'N' word)...  We'd call him in the house at night.. 'Here N****R'! He'd come a runnin from a tree or under the shed. He got old and sort of like Mike Tyson.. He'd bite and claw you if you even looked at him funny.

We have a black cat my son named Batman. It's pretty funny hearing my wife yelling for Batman out the door.

Elkslare,
I didn't get a new camera, just a new wide angle lens and a 1.4X teleconverter for my big telephoto lens. But hopefully one of these days I will be out taking some wildlife shots. Until then I will be stuck taking mild life, domestic pet shots. :( ;) :)  :D

Steve,
That is an Awesome looking Bengal cat! My wife and I think it is so cool looking!
Bengal cats are pretty neat cats! They are even tempered, well behaved, darned smart and easily trained. Plus they can be around people that are normally allergic to cats. Of course you already know that! ;) :)
