Winter on the mountain today.

Boss, that looks like the view from my parents place. They live across the river from Sauk Store Rd.
Yep HWY 20 looking north to Sauk MTN.

That frozen lake shot reminded me of all the years of ice fishing back in West Central Minnesota. (Alexandria area) real cold falls we'd be on 5 inches of crystal clear ice by Thanksgiving weekend. It is a eerie feeling walking on it when you know there's 40 some feet of water below and you can see it crack as you walk. Clear ice is the strongest and safest but it's the worst for fishing through. Thanks for picture and the memory.

Thanks. Hwy 504 on the way up to St. Helens. Too cloudy/foggy to get pics of the mountain though.
