Veery bad reviews on the Tasco

I would personally give every camera I ever used bad reviews. There hasn't been one brand/type that hasn't had issues  at roughly the same time/rate. That is why I now use these cheap cameras. If you want pics of animals walking on trails and you don't want the cam facing down the trail then this won't be your camera. If you are going to use bait or an area where the animal will likely stop at a approximately known point then this cam will do just fine. My failure rate for these was 1 out of 5 after one season. My failure rate for the $200 Bushnells was 1 failure out of 2 cameras for the same time frame. Issues (failure or small issue) for these cameras was 2 out of 5 after one season and 2 out of 2 for Bushnells.

I agree ALL the cams fail! no matter the money spent. Till they can warranty or gurantee these high end cams u will never see me purchasing these spendy cams again. I can stomach the $70 if it breaks, gets stolen or a bear.

I went with the older model Bushnell's that I, previously, talked about. One reason, two year warranty, pretty hard to beat that.

Generally two years is about the end of most trails cam's life. My problem is I don't want my camera in for warranty repairs during the times I am needing to use them..and it is my luck that they would be. I would rather just go buy another cheap camera. I do think the older Bushnell is better than the newer Bushnell. It should take good pics for your. The newer Bushnell has a better flash range but the older cameras range is just fine.
