To me it's not about if your indian, black, pink or purple it's equal rights, If being their own nation is what they want then they should live with the benefits and repurcussions of being a stand on your own nation. They have their own courts, laws and everything else needed to be independent of the united states, so be independent. Reminds me of my kids, they are only my kids when there si something in it for them, the rest of the time i'm the *censored* who makes them be accountable.

I agree  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

The minorities are using every angle they can for special treatment. But as long as they keep getting their way they will keep trying and most any group would. Heck, every minority group in America is using the screwed up system to get what they want, even the illegals that shouldn't be here.  :bash:

I remember haveing a small debate on this site when Gouldmark was running for Commissioner.  Some on here was going to vote for him because "Democrats are better for the environment"  or something like that.  I wonder if they still think that way.  Also, he was elected by taking advantage of the the land slides and flood on the Chehalis.  Basically blaming Sutherland and ignoring the 20" of rain that fell.

I was just wondering, I am fighting with the forest service about road usage, they charge me to use the f.s. roads but let the indians use it for free, I am claiming discrimination based soley on race. I don't plan on winning I just like to raise the points and at least get some attention for a little while.

I don't know why you guys are even surprised....he went to Cal Berkeley....

But...but....but.... his political ads when he was running for Congress said that he was an "Okanogan Rancher"....

:bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:

Well he is not the first "Okanogen Rancher" that entered politics, cause they could not manage the Ranch finances, not to mention now 2 acres =ranch! in some people"s mind. So we let them manage our resources and dollars, and stand amazed as they sell us out.
Most votors it would seem go with name recognition, as they won"t bother with research of the candidates, and where does the normal washingtonian get their information? The bought and paid for media. Most of the political candidate"s are running for personal gain , not looking out for the best interest of the people of this state.
So we find out the skunks after it"s too late !

In no ways am I an expert in this but I believe it has to do with who owns the gas station. Because I know on the Muckleshoot Rez there are two gas stations but one is tribal and the other is not. And the whole different rules thing for tribal governments applies to the tribal station but not the other one.

I was just wondering about that, I was pumping fuel one day at a gas station and evadintley it was tribal[didn't realize it at the time] and there was a sign on the pump for tribal members to show their card when paying, so my guess was that once again the burden of maintaining OUR road system was put upon a few of us and not all of us.

If this is an executive decision, this can be challenged in the court of law, right? On the basis of discrimuination... Just a thought. Then Goldberg would have unpopular situation development once the time for re-election comes.

That's what I've been saying.  WE need to get our act together and start challenging stuff like this based on racial discrimination.  Nothing in the treaty or the Boldt Decision says that they have a right to this stuff.  This is all discriminatory.  This is no different than the Jim Crowe laws.

So it would seem it does some good to make a little noise. This bill should take care of things if it passes.
