Loss of a Minnesota Giant!

A Minnesota hunter came across this bull on the last day of Deer Season. Green Scores 456" and will rank in the top 5.
Click on the link to read the article. This bull was found laying on its back with its horns stuck in the mud. It was freed but died a couple of days later.

Wow... I'd like to see a pic.. I wonder why the article doesn't include a pic of the bull!?!?

thats funny, that herd is about 20 miles from where i grew up, elk are not so popular in that neck of the woods

I saw this bull last fall, I tried to get a few pic's of him but the weather just wouldn't cooperate  :chuckle:......

Was wondering when somone was gonna post this story on here.  They dont get any better than that.  Id take him over spidey any day.  The number of huge bulls produced the last few years is unbelievable.  I wonder if the trend will continue or if weve seen the peak of it?    I saw several other pictures of this bull on another site.

I wonder if WDFW would do the same thing?  I don't think they would be so willing or motivated to get the elk back to the finder of such a unique animal.

I could be wrong, but thanks for posting. It is nice to see that it turned out well for the finder of the elk.
