SE Turkey area?
« on: April 19, 2008, 09:10:31 AM »
I'm new to this site: probably never would have found it, but thankfully somebody posted it on Archery Talk.  I've enjoyed the last couple days flipping through the pages because you guys are talking about more local topics and areas, and that makes this site pretty interesting.  I'm a die-hard bowhunter and love elk, deer, bear, and turkey hunting.  I grew up in Idaho and have been hunting since I could walk.

I am somewhat new to the Clarkston area, and I was wondering if anyone had any info on a decent place to bowhunt turkey in the Clarkston, Pomeroy or adjacent areas.  I know, and hunt, the North Central section of Idaho, so I could trade info about any hunting you want over there.  Washington, however, remains pretty much an uncharted area for me.  I'm slowly finding bowhunting places, but I haven't found one with turkeys that I know of.  Any help would be appreciated.  If anyone has a turkey area and wants to hunt with me, then I will film it and try to get the footage onto our DVD and TV show; I'm on several different archery Pro Staffs, but I film my hunting for ASAT Camouflage.  Unfortunately the TV show is on the Sportsmans Channel, which I've only been able to get on the internet.

So.....any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi. I live in Clarkston. Got some spots I could point you to. Let's get together with some maps.

Wow!  Talk about a great guy.  B&B called me, and I think we'll be friends for a long time!  I knew a few things that he wanted info on, and he had way more help than I expected.  We'll be getting together soon for some good fun.
