mossberg rifle question
« on: January 10, 2011, 10:33:22 AM »
does anyone have a opinion on the mossberg 800c? i cant find much info on them but i picked one up in 22-250 for 200 bucks with a scope so i don't think it was that bad of a deal. Are they accurate i wont have a chance to shoot it for a week or two?

I haven't shot one either, but from all the reviews i've read they are a great shooting gun!! I'm getting the atr? in 25-06. Stainless, marine coat 24 inch fluted barrel, adjustable trigger, and a box clip.  379 out of the box!!

I have the ATR 30.06, Model 464 30-30, and the Model 500 12 gauge.  Love every one of them! They shoot straight, and dont break the bank.

The Mossberg 800 is an older edition, but the one i have in 30-06 was an excellent, accurate rifle for a decade and a half that went everywhere with and killed everything I hunted with it.

If you take good care of it, should serve you well.

my nephew has 1 in 7rem mag & it shoots very well. I also owned 1 in the past, it was a rebarrelled short action in 358 win that would shoot very well depsite an atrocious trigger. my nephews trigger is 10 times better than the 1 I had.
