The mixed bag from the river
« on: January 03, 2011, 07:22:07 AM »
I hunted solo yesterday and thrw out way to many deeks.  I manage to shoot 7 ducks, but they were not your normal birds.  A teal is uncommon this time of year and the mallards seem to go lower down, anyways 1 teal, ringnecks, malards, buffle.

I hunt private land and we built the blind about 10 years ago, and have been hunting ever since. Kinda hit and miss but still fun.

Looks like fun! I took my Nephews to my favorite spot and now there is a crap load of collage kids in it every time I go out to hunt! Glad you got your limit!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Good work! I know right where you are and that is VERY rare to see teal there! And it is a very hit or miss area. I have only hunted that stretch a few times....
