I think I read earlier in this thread that the deadline is March 10th. Pretty sure I'm gonna be in for just a point this year. I'm not feeling rich enough right now to justify 2 or 3 trips over to the eastside. And there aren't any westside permits I'm willing to burn 6 points on.

Not sure if Im gonna put in for a hunt or just points this year. Last year drew the Lincoln unit and killed my first bear ever. Its close to home for me and I put in a ton of time to do it, which doesn't look like I will have this year. And as has been said earlier kind of a half hearted effort on part of WDFW and Weyco. But the season was long and saw lotsa elk and deer and was cool just getting out. You could walkin to all Weyco land but couldn't drive in till after 3pm on weekdays. Plan to put some miles on the bike and binos
