hahaha I guess what I'm getting at is if they are gonna extend it or not through June!  I keep hearing all the rumors but haven't seen anything yet.

Where are you hearing the rumors? Even in the proposals for the 2012 spring bear seasons it has Kapowsin ending on May 15th:

(For westside spring bear hunts, the Department is recommending increasing the season length in the Kapowsin
Tree Farm unit from April 15-May 15 to April 15-June 15 based on discussions with the landowners. There is a slight anticipated increase to the number of hunter days.)

This was posted by someone in a different discussion on here.  I've also heard this from other locals and friends as well.  I know what I'm doing regardless, would just be an added bonus with the extra month!  Gets me that much closer to September 6th!!!!!   :chuckle:

Anyone have info on the Blue Mountains?  What unit would you suggest there and why?  I've been saving points to put in there, got 6 in the bag now and might put in for real this year.
"A peculiar virtue in wildlife ethics is that the hunter ordinarily has no gallery to applaud or disapprove of his conduct.  Whatever his acts, they are dictated by his own conscience, rather than that of onlookers.  It is difficult to exaggerate the importance of this fact"
