Antelope on Yakama reservation
« on: January 27, 2011, 09:36:25 PM »
I wasn't sure if there had been a thread about this or not yet...

http://m.kitsapsun.com/news/2011/jan/24/nevada-antelope-released-on-washington/

There is the link to an article about it... what are your thoughts?

Short story is there are now antelope in Washington... but they are not tested for diseases that could infect other game species as well as cattle....

It will be interesting to see how they are regulated.
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

I think I read earlier that they were tested for a few diseases, but released without results.  It could still be a few weeks before the results are in.  I wondered if they could've held them in some sort of quarantine first.  But overall I like....errr my rifle likes.....the idea of antelope here.
