It was nice running into you today! Any luck today?  I couldn't believe how many rubs were in that one area, but yet not one deer came out to play when I was there. Looks like I am going to Vail for the rest of late Buck. I sure hope I get something, don't want tag soup for my first year. Good luck to you and your son!

Are you a Soldier, Veteran, or a DOD employee? There is a sign as you enter the base that stipulates any person entering the base is entitled to be search by any of the 3 mentioned above. OPSEC, is the sole duty to protect anything within the limits of our post, and any violation would of been reported to the military authorities and his privileges would of been removed then he would of been turned over to the Pierce county police department or the wdfw pending charges.  FYI

Any person can hunt JBLM as long as they register with the adventure center and follow the rules set forth.

Gasman, apparently this individual didn't follow the rules set forth by NW adventure. I'm informing yote that if he was any of the 3 postion I mentioned, then he should of reported this to the authorities. Roger, tracking, as long as we abide by the rules. It's guys like this that gets our privileges removed to hunt on base. Remember hunting on base is a privilege and not a right. Situations like this if it continues and brought to the Base Commander's attention, then he might question the SAFETY, SECURITY and the LIABILITY not to mention the INTEGRITY of the hunters. It just takes one guy to mess it up for the rest of us hunters. So I'm putting it out there for the rest of the hunters who enjoys hunting on base, who follows the rules and etiquette: If you see a hunter not abiding by the rules then report him immediately....

You are correct, the guy in the blue truck (mentioned in the OP) was not follwing the rules.

Yotehunter also mentioned he did not get the lic plate number. The guy took off  throwing rocks at his vehicle.

I do know Yotehunter and he follows the rules, but if he see's someone not following the rules, he will also inform them of it. Not to be confertational but to educate.

I've turned in license numbers a few times over the last couple years concerning pheasant hunters breaking the rules only to be told I need to turn in their Hunt Number. How in the hell am I going to get their hunt number?

Ok Gent's, I spoke to the director of JBLM NW's adventure Lora Lad @253-967-7990, and David Patrosa @ 253-967-7056. In regards to turning in hunting violators. Their recommendation was to simply get a description of their vehicle and it's owner and immediately I say again, immediately report them to the miltary police and NW adventure. NW adventure will then compare your description based off of the hunters registration in that training area and warn that individual. NW adventures assurance, if it continues then his privileges will be revoked :'(. For your safety, at no point in time will you confront that violator.  :bdid:
