Ordered a holster for my ruger sp101 back in early november and finally got it today.  I've heard good things about his products and besides the wait i am very glad I went with him.  For one thing, the leather is awesome and another is nobody really makes holsters for the 3 inch.  Plus he's based out of Rupert,ID so somewhat local.  I ordered a IWB and looking forward to trying it out.  Love that new leather smell.

Looks like a nice rig.  Put it on and post another shot if you can.  I have a hammerless 101 and am always looking for a better way to carry it.  I like the Crossbreed that I have for it, but it is ugly!

I love a good leather holster, and I have a few. But By far the most comfortable  IWB holster I have is my Galco King Tuk, very similar to the Crossbreed. For comfort the Crossbreed, King Tuk, and MTAKs are untouchable, but they are ugly, I guess that does not matter when they are "concealed", lol
Milt Sparks makes one of the best hand made IWB holsters the Versa Max II. The problem is it has a 28 week wait and they only take orders the first couple days of each month because they exceed manufacturing capacity.

28 weeks?  Not sure I could wait that long.  Been trying to find a better holster for my xd, I'll look into the king tuk.

That "small of back" carry isn't for me.  Hit the deck on your back with that on and you'll be out of the fight instantly.  Will that holster work in a more traditional position?

I spent alot of time of trying to find the right holster for my ruger.  There are lot of posts about concealco for leather guys.  Lots of people that swear by them and quite a bit of pictures of carrying.  It's meant for strong side, that's how I'll be carrying it.  You can go strong or weak with the one I bought.  I have a uncle mikes for small of back for my xd, sitting in my garage right now, really horrible to wear.  I don't think I can wear anything in the small of the back to be honest.  Here is something I found on the web, there is another one out there with a revolver than you can barely see even with shirt up.  I'm not trying to persuade anyone in any direction, I just know this is the best one I've found so far for my ruger.

Sweet! Which one is that?

I change my location with each holster, lol. My Southern Comfort II sits best at 3:00, while my King Tuk rides from 3:00 to 5:00 depending on which pants I am wearing, with a full forward cant. Most comfortable around 4:00. The Black Hawk Serpa paddle goes anywhere available. I also found that wearing a tee shirt tucked in under my holsters made a world of difference. Then a baggier shirt or coat over all. The King Tuk, Crossbreed I do not need this.

Holsters for guys are like shoes are for woman, a different one for every occasion, of coarse they have to be color coordinated as well.....uh maybe not.

I really want a Milt Sparks Versa Max II but I am a instant gratification personality, lol. Galco shipped the King Tuk out the same day I ordered it, and I had it in my hand three days later.
