Thanks Quad!  I was trying for a different effect.   The focus on the branch and eyes, then blending off.  I wasn't sure I pulled it off.

Thanks for all comments. I really enjoy my time in tbe woods with these cats.

Today my wife and I finally got call from head of wdfw.  We had a long talk.  I am still boiling inside my stomach and they have their way and I am not supposed to bother biologlist people while they are trying to collar cougar.  I am glad I pull my dogs when I did.  I guess I was in the wrong.   It really frustrate me so much and i know where big lions I have been following for days and found him wrong day wrong time.  I still don't know how I can pretend I forget all about it.  We pay for our license /fee/ tags.  Then they take the oppertunity away. And treated like dirt by these state officials and volunteers. And Bio and Volunteer told me to come back NEXT DAY and I respect and I came back but there is FIVE rigs.  Whatever.
I don't know why they want to keep data collars while even I am there. ???  . If they want to waste ur money to biologlist. It just doesn't seem fair.
They apologized but i am still pissed off. But it is what it is.

Mulehunter,
You are definatley are the bigger man here!  They should at least try to make things right with you.  Great stories and wonderful pictures!!!  You should be proud of all the work you have done with your dogs.  They are working so good for you!  Best wishes for finding the big one!! (and taking his picture).

I just got done reading all 30+ pages.  Wonderful story.  Great Pics.  Sorry that you ran into conflict with the biologists.  I hope that you find one that meets your parameters in Idaho.

wacoyote, if you really do support a pursuit then check out mulehunters post that gives the info about the bills being presented right now trying to get pursuit back along with another to get some trapping back.   We need all the letters of support we can get on this.  Time is of the essence on this.  Not tomorrow.
