I'm kind of dumb

Got some cool pics but they are too big to attach to a post, how do reduce size of file to put it on here?  Sorry for such a dumb question but I don't post a lot of pics so kind of ignorant. Thanks

Do you have Microsoft Office Photo Manager or "Paint"?  Either one will resize pictures.

Bring up your photo folder.  Left click on it once so it is highlighted but not opened.  Go to the tool bar and click open with and click Paint.  Click on Resize, I change to 60% for a 10-12 megapixel original but you can experiment to get it below 2kb or whatever it is.  Save as a different name or you will lose the original.
