Right on! I have to find a moose shed before I finish school and go back to the west side!

Find an area with lots of buckbrush and thick alders and you are sure to come across moose sign and find where it is that there spending all their time.

Usually you will find scrapes on small trees and you will know that there is a bull around.

You gotta lace up your boots and put some miles on though cuz i promise you will see other guys lookin.

We've got some buckbrush, and I definitely comb that stuff. . . Takes forever to comb entire areas when you can only see about 5 feet, takes a lot of passes!  I've been going through timber for the most part, stuff cut up with trails and brush along side that might knock loose antlers off.  Found 76 deer sheds and 11 elk sheds in my two years of shed hunting over here, just not a damn moose shed! This year is the year I can feel it. . . Oh and it made me sick to hear that a buddy's girlfriend picked up a moose shed out of a slightly grown up clearcut I searched two years ago, but thankfully it was last years so I know I didn't miss it. . . Would be tough to know for sure I'd walked by one, though I'm sure I have.

I dont really know about moose on that side of the state. I am on the northeast side and thats generally where i come across them.
Get out there and see the unseen and find the unfound!

That's awesome!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Oh I'm going to school over here in Moscow, Idaho. . . A lot of similar country.

Got out today, just found a little 3 point elk shed.  Buddy found an old chewed 4 point whitetail. Might make a thread later.
