fair-chase & 700xcr- Thanks for the information guys. I think I'll give Pacific Hide & Fur a call to see what they are doing.
WAcoyotehunter- That's is what I'm thinking. I'll had to do more emailing and more research but if all else false that what I might be doing.

The only guy in WA I know that buys fur in the round or skinned but not stretched and dried ( called in the grease in the industry) is George Brady. When George says $10 to $20 remember that is for a really nice one. A coyote that is shot is not going to be nice.
Now if you want to put them up ( skinned, fleshed and dried) you have a few more options. There are 3 buyers in the state I can think of or you can ship to auction out of state or Canada plus there are buyers in ID and OR. Most fur buyers accept shipments and hold until a price is aproved of by the seller. George Brady is a receiving agent for Fur Harvesters Auctions. You might talk to him about what it takes to put them up so you can ship them. Nothing to it once they are skinned and fleshed.

Fur dealers generally do not buy salted hides so If you are not going to dry best to just freeze them.

Humptulips- Thanks for that information. I found it to be a lot of work to skin, flesh, and dry them especially with my schedule. I think my best option is to sell them whole which doesn't sound like it's going to work best for me. I'll be looking around more and see how this coyote tanning turns out for me. Maybe I'll just keep them and maybe sell them once they are tanned.

Tanning a lot more work. You will still have to skin and flesh and the drying is hardly any work as opposed to tanning. Also if you tan in order to be really saleable they have to be perfect which is not the case going to the fur market. If I was going to tan I would still dry and ship to tannery. It is only about $30 to have one tanned. The work to do it yourself you will find is quite formidable if you want it done right.
