Most whitetails in our area have already shed, even the mule deer have started. My buddy and I went out last weekend and found a fresh set of 4 point muley sheds :)

Spikes hold on longer than anything in my experience.  Saw a couple spikes in yellowstone memorial weekend a couple years back.  The bigger bulls already were branched..

with the kid code did apply to this. But help build the feeder. help set up the feeder(on his property). help with putting round bales in the feeder....he keeps the horns. From what few elk we have in our area...they usually hold there horns on into the end of Febuary till mid march.  :pee:
