Red Head mounts?? lets see um..

Thinking about getting a couple of Red Heads that I recently shot mounted...anybody have one mounted? any favorite duck poses that you have? thanks!

CountryslickR,

Have you already decided on the taxidermist you are going to use to mount your birds?  If not I would recommend getting in touch with WCTaxidermy on this site.  He is the owner of Willow Creek taxidermy out of Colville, WA.  He is a Bird Taxidermist.  That is all he does and he specializes in them.

Talking with a taxidermist that specializes in the field of animal you want mounted can and will help tremendously.  They have pictures of mounts they have done and they can give you numerous options.  Some you may not realize are available or have even thought of.

Michelle, ya I have a taxidermist picked out...yup, talking with many of them is a great source of info! talked to a few in the last year, definately helped make up my mind.. thanks for the info!!
