Your opinions on two bows
« on: January 14, 2011, 03:58:42 PM »
Let me start by saying that I know the most important thing is to see how these bow feel and then buy what is comfortable.  I would like to know what your opinions are on the Diamond Iceman and the Mission Craze.  I am thinking of the Iceman for me and the Craze for the wife.  Please let me know what you think.

I know of a member here that's killed a few limits of grouse with 3 shots with the iceman.

The Iceman was one of the bows I'd looked at hard when I was researching my purchase. I shot it a couple times at Cabelas and really liked it.

I shot the IceMan several times, very smooth draw, little to no hand shock and quite.

Of the the two you have listed the iceman would be the pick.

The price point you are looking at I would look throw the pse bowmadness bows in the line up.  I shot one yesterday and was fairly impressed.  If not the iceman is a good bow.

For the wife I would get here to shoot some bows and see what feels good to her.  I took my wife to a few shops to shoot bows and she didn't like any of the big dollar bows at all.  She bought a martin leopard.  Loved the grip.  She didn't like the feel of the mathews or hoyt bows at that time.  Haven't let her shoot anything newer.  Probably shouldn't:)

Iceman is a good bow from what I've been told but you and your wife should go shoot as many bows as possible before you buy.

Mountain-Archery has 2009 Iceman's for $459.  I dont think you can beat that price.

You're right. That's a hell of a good deal on the Iceman. Anyone in the market better jump on this deal.

I bought the IceMan a couple of years ago. Very smooth, quiet and sweet shooting. Get the IceMan.
