Utah Cow Elk Hunt

Machias could this hunt be done with a bow do you think, or are the ranges such that you pretty much need a rifle? I'd love to go down there in a winter or two and try with my longbow...

Not impossible sitting in one of the box blinds, but probably not very high percentage.  I probably wouldn't recommend it for a longbow hunt.
