I would hunt 17 tomorrow.  A lot of the birds were sitting just north of that location.  We shot ours there this morning.  I would leave the rags in the rigs and pack out the other decoys.  They will probably skirt the decoys if they come close.  They have been sitting in the field just north of 17 for the past few days.  They may or may not be back tomorrow after being shot at today at that location.  Good luck.
Cut em!

Does not hurt to give it a shot, but NWWABOWHNTR is right. Very difficult decoying snows this late in the season. If this wind keeps up in the morning that will definitely help a lot. If it were me I would set out the shells and silos but leave the rags at home. Find a good place to hide in a ditch about 50 to 75 yards down wind of the spread. The geese were really spread out on Fir Island this morning and in a good wind they will be on the move and flying low.  Good Luck!!! ;)

I've hunted #17 3 times this week. I got some birds this morning when an eagle made the birds get up. But the other two two days the guys on polson rd, hunting from they're trucks keep spooking the birds.

These guys were hunting the tree farm.  They had decoys spread between and under the trees.  I had to laugh at that one.  They were poking a few at the 70 + yard pass shoot.

Looked like all the snows headed off the island this morning. Saw large flocks clear up north of Burlington and others south of Mt. Vernon. Not much you can do when they get it their mind to head out. 500 decoys wont make em stick around.
