I shot the 200 and 225 noslers. I have only used imr4350 and it's been a great powder. My gun likes near max loads which seems to be the norm for the belted mag case. I'm a half gr under make for both the 200 bt/accubond and the 225 accubond. I cant remember the weight of powder right now but start at min now ill post the starting load and max. work up to a accurate load play with lenght too cause that made a differences in the groups out of my gun.

I shoot Hornady 225 gr SST's with 68.7 gr of IMR4831 and CCI primers, runs em out at about 2850 fps. i get more speed with other powders just not nearly as accurate. What gun did you get?

Pick a bullet and start with one of the reloading manuals for it. IMR 4350 would also be my first choice for the 338wm. I would go with a 225gn bullet. Work up your load at spec overall cartridge length, then play with seating depth for a little more accuracy. The belted magnum headspaces on the belt, but make sure your shoulders are just touching the forward section of the chamber. 'Neck size only' once you've fireformed brass so your belted cases last longer.

IMR 4831 should do well for you. Look at RL-19, RL-22 and H1000 also.

Remember, what shoots well in a Rem 7mm mag (powder), may not shoot well from the much shorter case of the 338wm with less case capacity pushing much heavier bullets. I don't knock the Reloader series but IMR4350, H4831, IMR4831 are tried and proven in the 338wm. If you must go with a Reloader powder, #15 for (200gn bullets), or #19 for just about anything you can find in that caliber would be good choices, as #22 is possibly too slow for the heavier bullets. (+225gn)

I've got my new .338 and I plan on shooting factory rounds with 225 accubonds. Hopefully I can find them.

What kind of velocity (200gn bullet), are you getting with the Ramshot? Accurate? Rifle? Rifling twist?

The most accurate powder that i have used is Norma MRP,at max it would cloverleaf with every bullet i tried, because of availability i now use R-17,it is my go to powder in place of IMR4350,H4831SC in my 338RUM is a good powder.
