My dad's first moose
« on: January 16, 2011, 08:09:53 PM »
They started a new moose hunting district that takes up about 1/4 of the state. It is mostly grass lands. This was the third year and my dad drew one of the two tags. We hunted 9 days, saw 16 moose. As you can see he dropped it out in the prairie. Yes we got him loaded whole in the pickup.

cool, got a story behind the hunt?  Did you spot and stalk, call him to you, road hunt? Nice moose, I bet your dad is proud!
