New Boots
« on: January 18, 2011, 09:03:02 PM »
Well, it was time to cash in on the Cabela's Gift Card's that I received for Christmas. I have been looking at the Alaska Hunter Boots by Meindl for quite some time, and well, I finally got me some.

Hopefully it was a purchase I won't end up regretting in the future.

I LOVE my Meindles.  They should be great boots for you.

I think cabelas will not refund or exchange after 90 days now, so start wearing them now every day to make sure there are no flaws. Also keep them well coated with some good boot dressing.

Nice! I have a pair of Meindl Denali's that are awesome.  They squeaked when I first got them, but a bit of mink oil fixed that.

Meindels are the most comfortable boot that I've worn.  Grease them well - a few people haven't been able to get rid of the squeek, unfortunately, but I haven't had a problem after I greased them.

I have had the exact same boot for over a year and love them.  Great support and traction over all kinds of terrain.
