Bull Elk

Here is yesterdays project.  None of the finnish work has been done on this elk and won't be for atleast 3 weeks.  I like to make sure mounts are good and dry befor returning them.  








Yes the rack does look off but it is the rack.  The left side of the rack was laid back and out to the side.  Here is a photo of the rack.

Nice.  That is the first bull that i have seen with a coke problem.

Looks like this bull has a pretty dark cape/mane. Nice job Michele, I like your eye set on this guy! Your client ought to be pleased!

 :lol4:  Took me a few minutes to figgure out what you were talking about.  Than I remembered the plastic I shoved up on the nose to keep the skin in place, lol.

This was a young bull.  The mane is realy nice and dark.  Cape was 10 1/2" x 22".  Thanks Cowboy!
