Moultrie D40 Trail Cam
« on: May 26, 2008, 07:55:03 PM »
I just picked up a Moultrie D40 trail camera and this thing works great for a cheap camera you can pick up for under $100.00.  I've had it out for a couple days and I've already got 66 pics.  It takes pretty good pics both day and night.

Here are a few sample pics of a little Blacktail buck.

Is that a flash for the night time photos?

You can pick it up from Cabela's for $99.00, I bought mine off of E-bay for $80.00.    I've seen a ton of them around $90.00 on E-bay.  It has a standard flash, it took about 20 picks of the same deer using the flash, didn't seem to spook him.  It takes 6 D batteries and it is supposed to last for 60 days, we'll see if it really does?

I'll be getting a couple more, this is fun, I can't wait to set up a few around some of my favorite wallows this fall.
