I've been looking for some maps that will point me towards public hunting land for coyotes since I found out that our local wildlife refuge prohibits coyote hunting on their land. I heard there are maps out there that you can find public or state land like BLM maps that let you hunt on them. I've been looking around and found the GoHunt program and was wondering if anyone used it to find public hunting land. Another question is that if you check the box WDFW/Public Lands and then click on Major Public Land it'll show highlighted spots either green or blue. The legend says that green is federal land which is WDFW land which prohibits coyote hunting and then blue is state land. So does that mean that the blue land is public hunting land? And it is seperate from the "private hunting lands" checking box which shows farmers that let you hunt on their land either by written permission or free hunting. I was asking this question because I found most of these "state" lands that are local to look like used farm land. So if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
