It is indeed a Drake Widgeon.   I was after the Eurasian variety, but found him.  Actually about the same rareness for me as I don't see very many.  Cool ducks.   I'm not sure if they have a call like a teal or not.  I heard what I thought was a teal and out comes this fella and a couple ladies.

Very cool shot.  They have more of a whistle, think "Whoo Weee Who" blown through a coaches whitle with no pea in it.

You bet, thank you guys.   I'm guessing thats what I was hearing.  Sounded pretty teal like but from a distance.   I missed the flight pic of him when he came in.  I wasn't paying attention, through the camera up and fired three shots.   Got the water behind him in focus.  Would have been OUTSTANDING!
