Best Binocs for around $200

Ok, don't laugh y'all. I wan't the best binoculars I can get for around $200.  We hunt muzzleloader in tree farms where you usually can't see very far anyway.  Anyone got a tip for me on some good value binoculars.

Leupold Yosemite's. Just over $100, and amazing quality. I thought they were better that many in the $300-$400 range!

Just upgraded so they're just my backups now, but they were good to me for years!  Lightweight, and the low power won't hurt you it doesn't sound like.

I really like my Burris 8x40 they were about 170 a couple of years ago.  I used them a lot and Burris backed up their warranty when the eye cups came off.

The open box minox will trip your trigger. I would give the 6x30 yosemite a look. I got mine for $79 at cabelas. They are the only sub $1000 bino I have kept. Fully endorse these.

Not laughing.  I've spotted and  killed more deer with a pair of $50 Bushnells than any other.  I have upgraded to our Sponsors binos and I love them.   Zenray.  Check out the link on the banner on the front page.

My son loves his Vista's. Very durable and probably the best glass for the dollar.  There is better glass of course. But for the dollar, very tough to beat.

Got my Minolta 10x50 for about $150?  +/- $20?  bought at a local camera store.  Shock/Fog proof, fully multi coated, all the bell and whistles except Phase Correction.   Later I saw a pair of 10x50 at Cabelas with Phase correction for $20 more

There are many good binoculars in your price range.  Of course, there will be incremental improvement at higher price point.  But it's not necessarily the case when you comparing different brands across multiple price points. 

Anyway, since someone recommended Vortex Diamondback, I will suggest you look at our VISTA binoculars for $129.  I will encourage you to take it to a sporting good stores and compare it against any binoculars between $200-$300 range.  The next step up will be our ZRS HD binoculars. It comes with dielectric prism coating to boost brightness by 8% comparing to traditional silver coated prism.

First I would like to tell you a little about myself. I am the owner of an outfitting company here in Arizona http://www.arizonaoutfitter.com and my preferred specie to hunt and guide is the North American Pronghorn. Now if you know anything about these fleet footed speedsters then you know they have 8X eyesight compared to all of us inferior humans; so as you know we need to get on the same playing field as our prey—right?? You bet!

When I was asked to check these Minox binoculars out by Doug at Cameraland New York http://cameralandny1.reachlocal.net/opt ... page=62173 I was a little skeptical about the quality of glass I would be looking through—not so much because of the product because I have owned the 15X 58 Minox big glass and absolutely loved them for their clarity and resilience to the torture I had put them through. No, it was the price that had me guessing. Could there be a binocular worth owning for this price?

I took the Minox BF 10X42 BR’s out of the box that was delivered to my door (in a very well packed and secure box from Fed Ex that required a signature) and the first thing I noticed is the quality of the over all binocular. It was solid; designed as if it were one of the “S” brand type glass and very ergonomically appealing! Could this be?? Could there be a binocular that was made like the Euro glass but at a very affordable price? Time will tell is all I had to say.

I took the Minox Binoculars on their voyage mission to look for my favorite animal the Arizona Pronghorn Antelope and as luck would have it I didn’t have to look too long before I saw what I was looking for. I was very concerned that the light may not be good enough to look at the detail of these magnificent beasts as it was just light enough to tell there were actually antelope in the prairie in front of me at about 500 yards away. I set the glass to my eye’s and was pleasantly surprised at the light transfer that these binoculars were sending to my eye’s! I could tell that three were does and one was a buck and the buck had started to re-grow his horns and the horns looked to be doing very well Indeed!

I was amazed that these little binoculars were so clear! They were very close to my Leica 10X42’s that I usually use for this same job! The glass was clear all the way out to the edge of my focal point. One would have to ask “What else do I need in a glass?”

The whole experience with these binoculars were A+ and if I had to pick anything that I didn’t like about these binoculars was that they do not come with front eye caps but that is easily taken care of by ordering a pair of any 42 mm eye cap just like you would on your other glass.

Oh yea, the price?? Believe it or not these Minox BF 10x42 BR Part# 62173 is ridiculously priced at $139.99 a pair!! At this price there is no reason a person can not afford a quality glass to use for hunting.

my friend picked up a pair of nikon monarch atb 10x42 of with a bino harness off of the classifieds on archerytalk for 180. the binocs were in perfect shape too.

we dunno. all we know is we are working saturday to pay back the government for all this money/time all of us chose to waste because an individual decided to put his new car into a light pole. we also now have a curfew. All of this was topped off by an ass chewing by the wing king because it was obviously all of our faults that this one guy got driven home safely by a sober driver then decided to go out again a few hours later.  I'm sure there was something i could have done ya know. since i was there and all.....  oh wait i wasnt there, i was asleep in my bed. end rant.
