Congratulations to 180-Grain for winning this elk score guessing game. The measured "Gross" score for the bull was 298 7/8". Just as an FYI, the "Net" score was 284 5/8".

First Place: 180-Grain   298 3/8
Second Place:  6x6in6       299 7/8
Third Place:  Poohdog     296 3/8

Jphelps will be in touch with you soon regarding your prizes.

Thanks to all that entered.  :brew:

I'll be honest, when some of the early entries came in I was wondering if we scored it right or if people didn't understand gross/net. We went back and re-hashed the numbers twice. When all is said and done, it's tough to score from a picture.

Ya I'm guessing the picture makes it look alot smaller, we have 5 bulls in the house pushing 300 and it looked alot smaller and this bull looked alot smaller. Pictures can be very deceiving, thanks for the contest it was very entertaining!

I'm glad to see all of the members taking a part in the contest.

180-grain, 6x6in6 and poohdog - I will be sending you PM's shortly to discuss what kind of calls you would like.

This contest is the least I could do for all the support that this site has given me.  Phelps Game Calls wishes all of you the best of luck in 2011.

Here are some new colors I have been working with.
