Holy chit... I went from 10 for 10 in elknut challenge I to 19 out of 25 in challenge II. I went from worse than wolves to a measley satelite bull in a week  :'(.

22/25 Herd Bull, that nervouse grunt got me. I was leaning that way but went with a bark. I have all of elknuts videos and CD's and listen to them regularly. Even my kids are getting good with the sounds riding around in the truck with me. Only about 8 months till season :)

You guys are dang good on this Site!!! I would venture a guess & say you have the highest scores on average compared to a few other Sites this Challenge is on! I'll be getting 25 more up & see how you do with them! (grin) It's cheap entertainment! (grin) Thanks for participating!!!

AKbowman, You're right, the Playbook covers all answers & thoughts about the elk sounds heard on the CD. We did it this way because we took a Poll before it ever came out & the overwhelming response was have "Sounds Only" of course all sounds are identified as you know on the CD. That CD would be hours long if I added all additional info of when, where & how in their individual use for ones best odds per encounter with these various sounds! By listening to the sounds & becoming familiar with them & reading how they apply, now you're learning something by exercising that effort, it will pay off in the long-run! The reason being is you can take the PlayBook into the field with you but not a CD Player! Thank You for your thoughts Sir & good luck to you!

That makes sense, thanks for the explanation ElkNut. I guess it would be really long all on one CD. Listened to it and practiced along in my car today on the way over to the east side. Its great, Ill have to dig the playbook out now and study up.

Again  I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get better at calling in elk no matter what your level. Best $20 bucks ive spent in a while

I was lucky and got 17 of 25 to rank as a Satelite Bull. Not bad for one who has never hunted for elk.  :IBCOOL:
Very cool quiz, thanks for sharing.

22 out of 25.. i found some of the answers to be wrong. like bulls 1 month before bugling season. i have found bull by them selves this time of the year. more maybe small immature bull will be together but big ol grand dads are off buy them selves.

I don't agree with this question "you should never have your mind made up before going into the woods as to what you are going to shoot that day" but I think that is an opinion not a correct or not correct answer.

I got 1 wrong because I miss read question 21. I read it as"you can generally find elk in their BEDDING grounds but the question is "you can generally find elk in their breeding grounds :chuckle:
