Looking for a place to shoot and a friend to shoot with
« on: January 24, 2011, 04:34:53 AM »
Some of you may remember me as the guy who launched the Second Amendment March rally at the state Capitol last year.  I met a few of you there.  I live in Vancouver and would like to find a place to shoot.  Not a range but open space somewhere.

There's got to be something within an hour drive or so.

It would be nice to find a shooting buddy too.

Adams, I am sure you will find someone down that way! If not, next time you come up to the Olympia area give me a shout, we can get out and wreck some targets!   :mgun2:

First, thanks for your strong support of our 2nd Amendment.

If you were closer to where I live, I'd invite you over to shoot in the back yard.  :cue: :bfg:

ICEMAN, bearpaw, thanks for the generous offers.

I met ICEMAN at the rally.  A good man.

There must be someone who knows of something out my way.  Let's go shooting.  Lunch is on me.

I know of a gravel pit I went shooting east of kelso but I can't remember how to get there.  I know it was pretty close to mt St helens and it was on a forest road with a horse camp about 3 mile away. Ugh, it was on a scouting trip so lots of land was covered.

I just remembered it was close to the ape caves.  Because I remember being at a T and seeing signs point this way to ape caves. And at the main road ended abruptly at a huge bolder field.  Sorry its not much help. I was a passenger.  Lol

dad98684 and I went shooting today.  We burned up a bunch of ammo. :mgun:

All I can say is when the zombie apocalypse cometh, I want him backing me up.  The man can shoot the testicles off a gnat with that Ruger Blackhawk.
