We can only hope they are closed to keep the indians from going in and slaughtering all the wildlife.

The roads are open as of May 1. Still may be "gates" across the roads, just have at it.

My wife is 1\2 Native American, she has her card, so she could go kill what ever, when ever she wants to.But she doesn't, because she has more respect for animals. I, agree with you, f**k people that do that. But easy on the Indian thing  (they're not all bad).

I agree there not all bad, but the one's who are do enough damage to cause hate.  And that is exactlly why there closed.  native americans prefer to eat deer and elk meat harvested in the spring.  better eating because of the food sources early in the yr.  there are several ways around that gate any how. and i know people who have been going for several weeks now and getting some nice sheds.  don't agree w/ that but some people just can't wait.  go somewhere else where there isn' t thousands of elk wintering.  donno :dunno:
Work sucks!!!! I should be shed hunting

lets not start another indian bashing thread here, guys. there's enough of them on the boards.

Why is it "indian bashing" to simply make a comment about what some native americans do?

I know some natives. I went thru school with them K thru 12, lived near them, partied with them. A simple comment is not an indian bashing thread. Everytime someone brings up the word "Indian", moderators lock the thread up.  :dunno:

thats a little harsh there, iceman. i didn't lock anything, nor do i agree with a lot of what they do. i just don't think we need another beating of a dead horse....there's about 42 or 43 other threads on here if you want to keep one of them alive.
the way it started off, it was destined to be another, you know it as well as i do.

I guess I'm guilty of starting it off in that direction. What the heck, I was only being honest.

Hey, I'm the biggest proponent for "rights". If you have the rights, then do it. But I ate a big bull tag in 05 that a Native American shot ith a Rifle.
