Dedicated to 92xj
« on: October 17, 2012, 08:07:06 AM »
Last night the boy and I went scouting for a good duck hole since he didnt have football practice.  We found a nice lil pond a put out the decoys 92xj bought my Son and hid in the grass.  We only had about a half hour to hunt by the time we found the spot and set up.  Sure enough one came in and didnt leave lol.  He made a great shot with his new 20 gauge. When we got it back to our spot it was still alive so I tried to snap its neck and the head came off and the body landed in Jojo's lap and squirted blood all over everything.  On the way home my boy said he likes duck hunting better than deer hunting and will never forget I tore the head off his 1st duck(drake mallard).  He wanted me to make sure 92xj got the credit and give him a big thank you and the pic we promised so here you go 92xj!  Thanks you from my Son and I!

Congrats on the first bird.

It's amazing how easy some of those heads will pop right off.
